Emerald Card - H&R Block App Reviews

Its a typical app but what is ridiculous is that it doesnt give you the phone number or hours of the locations near you. Who would need to know where a location is and not the hours and contact information?

Ive had this card for 3 years and it has been nothing but a headache and a hassle the entire time. Customer service is a joke. There are a few good and helpful reps but most are not customer service oriented or seem very intelligent for that matter. A few things they have done to make me feel this way: after someone tried to use my card in a different state (fraud) I was told by customer service that my card was fine and I did not need a replacement. Ha! Really ? How is it fine? Someone fraudulently tried to steal my money and emerald card put a block on the card from adding funds or anything rendering it useless. So I had to beg for a new card and card number. Also just about everytime I used this card I had a problem and had to call customer service. Constant PIN number changes and problems. Basically you dont want the headache of this card. There are much better prepaid options.

Had card for three years now not a problem excellent customer service when I lost my card they sent me a replacement card in 3 days plus I dont have to go through a rough time with my money like other prepaid cards that wants more money upfront thanks Emerald

I got charged $.99 for this update without my consent! The app is good but I dont think thats ok to take money out.

This app literally becomes more broken and glitches with every update. Regularly cant log in. Like next to no effort is out towards improving their product.

They need to add access to the ePocket from the app. Its kindve ridiculous I can do everything else from the app, but this. Great product though, been using it for years. Only prepaid card I use anymore, why bother with anything else? Its all here and its all free.

The app never works. Then when I tried to write a review on how it never works it wouldnt post it! I am writing my second review due to that. It has major issues on logging on to it. 90% of the time it says error. Its a shame when it does work its great!

Ive never had problems with the app before but today Ive gone online and changed my password and everything and I still cant login. It keeps giving me an error message. Please correct this.

I wish this app was like the online account portal where you can link an account, but you cant on this app you have to go to your main page online to do so which takes time instead of using the app.

I dont have any problems like others seem to be experiencing!!!! All in all I like the app I just wish you could access your epockets from the app without having to log in online!!!!

I like the app OK, but I use my e pockets a lot. So I have to access everything through the online version. At this point it became obsolete. So if there was a way to access my e pockets through the app, then I would download again.

App use to be great until recently. Error message keeps popping up. Have to go on website. The point of the app was to avoid logging into website each time. Will have to delete app til problem is resolved. Bumer

I really only use the app to chk my balance. Now I cant do that simple task. And whats so bad is if I get my password wrong it says "Error youve tried 3 unsuccessful attempts and it locks me out" and Ive literally only tried to login ONE time!!! WTH. #FIXITJESUS

Dont use this app!

Please do an update where i can sign in with my finger print instead of always typing my password

Been using this app for about 3 yrs. works awesome. Never had a problem at all. Great work.
