Ive had this card for 3 years and it has been nothing but a headache and a hassle the entire time. Customer service is a joke. There are a few good and helpful reps but most are not customer service oriented or seem very intelligent for that matter. A few things they have done to make me feel this way: after someone tried to use my card in a different state (fraud) I was told by customer service that my card was fine and I did not need a replacement. Ha! Really ? How is it fine? Someone fraudulently tried to steal my money and emerald card put a block on the card from adding funds or anything rendering it useless. So I had to beg for a new card and card number. Also just about everytime I used this card I had a problem and had to call customer service. Constant PIN number changes and problems. Basically you dont want the headache of this card. There are much better prepaid options.
